   Man oh Man, where does he time go?
   
   Seems like only yesterday I was counting the days to get my drivers licence and now I'm 60!! Looking forward to another season of riding my Valkyrie, in fact I was out for a 200 mile ride yesterday. Still a little cool up here though and the warmer weather will be a treat.

   Just got your email and it has been sitting in my in basket for the past month now... I usually check the forum daily but didn't pay any attention to the small mail icon at the top of the page, hence the reason you didn't hear back from me.
   
   I trust all is going well with you down in your neck of the woods although the eastern part of the country seems to have been hit hard this year with a cold winter. Are you far enough south to have missed all this cold weather? I have an older brother still living in Goderich, Ontario which is located just 150 miles north of Detroit on the eastern shores of Lake Huron. He tells me it has been a long winter, kinda like one of those winters of the 60's when I grew up back there. After living out here in B.C. for so many years, one has a tendency to forget just how cold it can get with the winds coming off of the Great Lakes. Kelowna is located in the Okanagan Valley and is known for it's mild winters but occasionally we can get some cold winters here as well which was evident this year.
   
   It was nice to get away to Peurta Vallarta this past February for a couple of weeks, just to break up the winter blues and although it is still a little cool up here, motorcycles are starting to appear on the streets every day. In fact I put my plates on my Valkyrie last week as I had to take it over to my friends house where we changed both tires. There is still sand on most of the roads that are currently being swept, so one has to ride carefully.
   
   I'm looking forward to another season of riding and travelling around the countryside with a couple of my motorcycle buddies. I have a friend that just purchased a Goldwing from a dealer in Dallas and he is riding it back here in May. He wants to meet me in Cody, Wyoming then ride west through Yellowstone National Park, Jackson Hole and then north up through Spokane and home. Should be a fun ride.
   
   Well, that's about it for now Skip. Keep up the good work as your forum brings quite a bit of joy to motorcycle enthusiasts around the world.

   Thanks for the reply and getting the pictures posted so at least you can put my face to a name. I was able to figure how to post a picture of my T on the HSATF Map. I know this stuff should be simple but when it comes to digital pictures and downloading, I'm a little slow but in time will eventually catch on. I was hoping to get some nice fall shots but accidently forgot my digital camera when my buddy and I went out on our last ride. Oh well, there is always next spring as it is getting a little too cool to ride up here.

   I'm amazed at how you can keep up with everything on this site and must compliment you on such a fine job you and a few others are doing. I would like to take in one of the rallies one of these years but I'm so darn far away from the eastern bunch of members it is nice to keep abreast by way of the internet and enjoy reading the comments from the others. I can see from the number of hits on the HSATF there are a lot of interested motorcycle enthusiast out there!
